Greg Harris (Sr. Snead Flight) Wins the Myrtle Beach Major

Greg Harris lives in Michigan and competes on the Chicago South Tour.  A Member since 2008, he has been absent of the winners circle since 2009 and has yet to win a Major Championship.  He came close in 2010 finishing 2^nd in the Senior Snead Flight at the Harbor Shores Major.

Greg enjoyed better weather than his fellow Chicago South member’s who competed on the same weekend in California.  He competed in the Winter Classic Major in December finishing 4^th and one stroke from qualifying for the Senior National Championship; finished 7^th at the TPC Sawgrass Open Major in January and scored his first Major Championship win in Myrtle Beach (Three-times-a-charm).

With his Major Championship win, Greg has officially qualified for the 2012 Senior National Championship in September.  All that is left to fulfill the eligibility is for him to compete in at least one tour event after June 1^st of 2012.
